Bayanin Samfuri

Methanol (CH₃OH) ruwa ne mara launi, mai sauƙin canzawa tare da ɗan ƙamshi mai ɗanɗanon giya. A matsayin mafi sauƙin sinadarin barasa, ana amfani da shi sosai a masana'antar sinadarai, makamashi, da magunguna. Ana iya samar da shi daga man fetur (misali, iskar gas, kwal) ko albarkatun da ake sabuntawa (misali, biomass, kore hydrogen + CO₂), wanda hakan ke sa shi babban abin da ke taimakawa wajen sauyi mai ƙarancin carbon.
